Meditation is being present with ourself
Recently I came across a passage that reminded me that during meditation, we are with ourself in the present. No past or future exists. It’s only us being present with ourself. At that moment in time all relationships fall away; all the labels fall away; the emotions fall away; and we sit in stillness as we try to reconnect with our pure self.
